When things seem TOO easy

I noticed that when things seem to easy I feel this particular kind of anxiety like the rug is going to pulled from beneath me. That's my v-story at work and now that I recognize what that feeling means, I can do some release work around it.

I also now notice when I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Scattered and feeling like I have a million things to do and it all needs to be done today. I give myself permission to choose what will get done today and what will get done later and then I inhale deeply and exhale slowly.

Ahhhh, that so much better.

I am Robin Harris and I started Manifesting With Ease because I got real clear about my pattern of struggling with something for a long time and then at some point I would fall into a state of surrender and end up getting what I wanted in the first place.

This struggle pattern was so deeply rooted in how I was living my life I needed to understand it and then find a way to break that cycle. That's when I discovered several v-stories I was living out.

Hard work is honorable
Nothing worth having comes easy
Easy come - easy go
I have to earn everything I get in life before I deserve to have it
If it's too easy I get bored with it and won't appreciate it
If it comes too easy - people won't like me

All of these stories were written in my childhood. I come from a "hard working" middle-class family. I was raised in religion that believed it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich person to get to heaven. I know many African-Americans who believe if you have an upscale life-style you are selling out your own people. I have v-stories upon v-stories that make struggle a very logical choice for living life.

I am a writer, that is a gift I have had since childhood. A gift I never questioned or doubted but it never occurred to me that the gift could help me understand and heal my own life until recently.

Manifest With Ease is my way of reaching out to others who, like me, have been struggling, toiling, laboring for whatever reason and they are tired of it. There is a way to embrace more and more ease into your life. And I'd like to build a community of like-minded people who want to do just that.
